Transforming Parent Representatives into Pillars of Support and Collaboration

Class representatives play a vital role in facilitating communication and cooperation between the school and the parents. Their primary responsibility is to create a bridge between home and school to ensure the smooth flow of information, support, and collaboration throughout the academic year.

The role of a Parent Class Representative typically includes the following responsibilities:

Communication

One of the main tasks of a Parent Class Representative is to communicate and filter important information between the parents and the school. This includes relaying feedback, addressing concerns, and facilitating open communication channels.

Support

Parent Class Representatives play a role in organising and coordinating volunteer efforts for school events, field trips, fundraisers, and other activities that involve parents' participation as well as supporting the Class Representative reelection at the beginning of every school year.

Confidentiality

It's important for Parent Class Representatives to respect confidentiality and not disclose sensitive information about pupils, teachers, or other parents.

The minutes of all meetings are uploaded to the school's app.
