Meal Time
Meal Time

At our school, we promote that lunchtime should be a joyful and social occasion for both children and adults. Our goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment. We focus on helping children develop through positive role modeling and encouragement from our staff. Creating a positive eating environment is essential to us, as it encourages children to eat well while developing good eating habits and social skills. We promote polite interactions by encouraging children to say “please” and “thank you,” and we foster conversation during mealtimes, allowing children to engage with one another.

We understand the importance of fostering independence in children, so we support them in making choices about their meals. We also respect individual dietary requirements and cultural eating habits, ensuring that every child's needs are met and feel valued and included. Throughout the day, we provide fresh water and fruit as snacks to keep our pupils energized and nourished.

We warmly invite parents to join us for lunch on Fridays, creating a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with our school community.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our pupils, every staff member involved in meal times and cooking activities holds the necessary certification in accordance with Spanish regulations.

We also have some important guidelines regarding food and drinks at school: sweets, chocolate, and crisps are not allowed, as we prioritize healthy choices. Additionally, due to severe allergies, we do not permit nuts on campus.
