Our First GCSEs: A Milestone for BSCD
Our First GCSEs: A Milestone for BSCD

This past academic year has marked a very special chapter in the history of The British School of Costa Daurada. Our very first cohort of students in Year 10 took part in their first official GCSE examination, certified by Pearson, as our school is now an accredited examination centre.

For us, the most important aspect of this achievement was not only the final grades but also the process itself. Every step was a “first time”: the preparation, the organisation, the coordination with Pearson, and of course, the students’ own dedication. It was an extraordinary journey that required effort, commitment, and teamwork from everyone involved.

The results speak for themselves. All of our students achieved exceptional marks, obtaining A++ and A+ grades across the board. These outstanding outcomes reflect not only the academic abilities of our pupils but also the quality of teaching and the support system that surrounds them at BSCD.

We are extremely proud of our pioneering students, who have set the standard for future generations. They are proof that when effort, passion, and dedication meet, the results can only be excellent.

We also want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire school team for making this first experience possible, and for turning what could have been a challenge into a success story. Special recognition goes to Xavi Sole, our Spanish teacher, whose guidance, energy, and professionalism have been key to this achievement.

At BSCD, we believe this is just the beginning. Our students’ first GCSEs are not only a historic milestone but also a promise of everything that is yet to come. Together, we will continue building an inspiring future.
