The House of Values programme is a way of bringing pupils of different ages and skill sets together. This way, pupils are able to work together with other pupils from their House groups throughout the school to put Our Core Values into action, giving our younger pupils the opportunity to learn and connect with our older pupils and our older pupils the opportunity to be leaders and role models to their younger counterparts.
The House of Values also helps to embed Our Core Values into the hearts and the minds of all of our pupils, encouraging them to do their best, not only for themselves, but for the good of their House family. Pupils are very passionate about their House groups and feel such a huge sense of pride when they are able to contribute to the success of their House.
All pupils from the same family are in the same House group, so the Whole School House Events also give siblings the opportunity to work together within the school.
During the school year, pupils are able to win House Points both individually and collectively which contribute to points on their House Cups both.
When pupils display a quality or demonstrate an act that represents one of Our Core Values, they are awarded House Points. Other ways to earn House Points are during our Weekly Sports tournament and during Whole School House Events, i.e., Music Day, Robotics, Sports Day, etc in which House groups work together in order to complete a challenge. House groups are awarded House Points for their House Cup, in accordance with the outcome of the challenge.
