Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department is crucial in ensuring that all pupils have equitable access to education and opportunities for personal growth. Research shows that early intervention improves the outcomes for children. The early stages of development of children are crucial in developing lifelong skills, when children experience difficulties to their cognitive, social, physical, adaptive and communication development have a narrower chance to enjoy and achieve an overall wellbeing.

We implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, providing targeted interventions and accommodations that facilitate learning. This may include specialized teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and additional resources such as learning support assistants . Furthermore, fostering an inclusive environment is essential also to promote awareness and understanding among all pupils to cultivate empathy.

Early interventions is about introducing the right kind of interventions in a child's life as early as possible to help them become a successful learner.

Our effective observation, planning and assessment cycle in collaboration with parents' involvement allows us to identify areas of needs and to set the appropriate next steps. In addition, we have established a multidisciplinary work environment with external professionals who help us identify specific areas of needs by carrying out regular visits and observations and in conjunction to elaborate and implement the most adequate educational and care plan to support children.

By prioritizing SEND provisions, we enhance academic outcomes for these pupils and also empower them to develop social skills, self-confidence, and resilience, preparing them for successful futures
