Wellbeing

One of the main reasons why our families choose us is because of our Wellbeing Department.

All of our school community recognises the importance of promoting wellbeing and actively works to create a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the holistic well-being of each of us, this including the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of each individual within our school community.

Our Wellbeing Department, run by the Head of SEND, a full time School Psychologist and the Head of Wellbeing, works towards setting a stage for a healthy and successful future, enabling pupils to thrive academically and personally. It does so through its programs of Early Intervention across the school community.

As a Wellbeing department, we are committed to attend to the unique needs of each student, parents and members of the school community, providing an inclusive and accessible environment that supports the wellbeing of all pupils, including those with SEND. We do so by working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents so we can identify and address the specific needs that may arise on a daily basis. Mental health education is integrated into the curriculum, and support services will be provided to those in need.

We also have in place an Equality Strategy Plan and Yearly Test of Riesgos Psicosociales for all the school community and members of the staff.

We understand school as a place where children feel secure and happy. This is why we have a very strong policy to prevent bullying and/or any other kind of harassment.

Pupils, parents and all members of staff are educated on the importance of respectful and inclusive behaviour through group discussions, interactive workshops, guest speakers, group projects, self-reflection and goal setting, counseling services, scenario-based assessment, parent workshops, among others.
